Indian Institutes Of Technology conducts every year the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) that is one of the most competitive exams of India. It is a surveillance operation phase after the medicine is made available to the doctors who start prescribing it. The aim of this phase is to identify newer and to unknown adverse reactions and effects in different ethnic groups. This entire journey of a drug from the lab to market may take approx. 12 to 18 years.
